ACCOUNT MANAGER TRAINEE

The successful candidate for this position will begin as an account team member and be provided opportunities to learn all aspects of the product and system. Should their progress and business conditions permit, they would assume full Account Manager responsibilities in 6-9 months.

Primary Responsibilities
• Assist in the processing of transactions including the data entry of freight invoices.
• Manage and operate the systems for processing freight invoice transactions for customers.
• Serve as the primary point of contact with customers for day-to-day needs concerning their account.
• Supervise account management team personnel to ensure high customer satisfaction and efficient processing.
• Manage exception transactions to ensure on-time payment and permanent resolution of the root causes associated with exceptions.
• Support, maintain and document customer processes.

Requirements & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related program, required.
• Good alphanumeric data entry skills, required.
• Track record of delivering above-average customer service, preferred.

FREIGHT RATING SUPERVISOR

A3 Freight Payment is looking to expand its operations team with the addition of a Freight Rating Supervisor. The successful candidate for this position will assume primary responsibility for the freight invoice auditing function and related analysis. They will eventually become the in-house expert on freight rates and contracts.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Manage all pricing exceptions discovered by automated audit system with an initial focus upon LTL and TL exceptions. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all freight rating issues and disputes between customers and carriers. 
  • With the assistance of staff; load, manage, and update all rates in automated rating engine.
  • Supervise rating personnel who assist in maintaining automated rating engines.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience with LTL and TL rates and contracts, required
  • Experience with Excel for reporting and analysis work, required
  • Experience with parcel rates, preferred
  • Track record of delivering above-average customer service, preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related program, preferred.
